Jammu and Kashmir came into being as a single political on March 16, 1846. This is the northernmost state of India. It is situated mostly in the Himalayan mountains. Jammu and Kashmir shares a border with the states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab to the south and internationally with China to the north and east and the Pakistani administered territories of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, to the west and northwest respectively. Formerly a part of the erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, this territory is disputed among China, India and Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir consists of three regions: Jammu, the Kashmir valley and Ladakh. Srinagar is the summer capital, and Jammu, its winter capital. While the Kashmir valley, often known as Paradise on Earth, is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, Jammu's numerous shrines attract tens of thousands of Hindu and Muslim pilgrims every year. Ladakh, also known as "Little Tibet", is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and Buddhist culture.

The ministries of Vishwa Vani in Jammu & Kashmir is growing At present there are 24 Field Workers are working in 17 Web Centers, and reaching 65 Villages.

There are 40 Bible Study Groups and 174 Baptized Believers. The believers are  worshiping in 16 Worship Groups. One church is constructed.  7 churches have to be constructed and 17 type3 Workers are to be trained

Divine Healing!                                                

                        I am living at Baribrahmna in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. More than a year, I had been afflicted with chronic disease to take treatment for this disease; I was in need of a big amount. Since I did not have it, I could not take the proper treatment which resulted to push me into the severe sickness. The servant of God, Ramkrishna Mahapatra visited me at my house on 08.03.09. He counseled me and assured that Jesus would give you a new life. He also gave me a New Testament to read it. I also read it, my faith in Jesus increased, and I joined in the fellowship of God’s people. Miraculously the needed amount for the treatment was sanctioned by the Government. The stripes of Jesus brought divine healing to me. Now I became a witness for Christ. Yes, I have a privilege to proclaim in Baribrahmna that Jesus is alive. – Samsad Matto.

Tikri is a village in Jammu Kashmir. The people in this village are very poor. Some even live by begging. Oneday a person who lives by begging came to the door steps of our worker Mr. Kasturi Lal. Katuri lal invited him inside his house and gave him food. While he serve food he did not forget to share Jesus with the begger. The begger was so happy. He express his desire to hear more about Jesus. The begger also wanted Katuri Lal to come to his place and share the Gospel. Kasturi Lal went to the slum with him and shared the Gospel 8 people accepted Jesus as their personal savior on the same day. Hallelujah! Please pray for this villge people who do not have education, Medical support and daily provisions like food, dress etc.
