United by the gospel

I am from Santal People Group which does not consider drinking as sin. It is habitual for us to consume alcohol on special occasions and functions. I reside in Katlamari village of North Dinajpur district. I lost my health, money, wife and children and was left alone as I was addicted to alcohol. My heart broke when I heard that my children became bonded laborers. I tried my best to put an end to this habit of drinking but in vain. Worker Shyam Hansda met me and counseled me. The Word of God gave me a new life and I gave up drinking. My wife and children came in search of me. Today we are living and praising God as a family. It is our desire to bring our relatives and the villagers to Christ. – Bijoy Mardi, a new believer

Strong Faith
Chandra Kanta Dhara, who belongs to Midnapur in the state of west Bengal, had an opportunity to hear the gospel for the first time through our worker Udhay Sarkar. The Word of God consoled him who was troubled with anxieties, worries and tears of life. Because of the consolation he attended the Bible study and received a New Testament from him. Having committed to the love of Calvary, he took baptism and started living a new life. To destroy his faith, trouble came across his life. But he overcame all those things in Jesus Name. Now he testifies with strong faith as to live in Christ. Chandra Kanta Dhara’s life is not only challenging the mission fields of Midnapur but also to Udhay Sarkar. – Bikash Mullick

The Feet of Jesus Is Enough
The Jamuluddin family from Hariharpara field of Murshidabad district, West Bengal was put into great trouble as they have accepted the Lord Jesus in their hearts as their Saviour. Though they encountered many troubles they lived with great content saying that the feet of Jesus is enough; they are facing the troubles with a smiling face. They are participating in the worship group with great eagerness. Pray that the journey of faith by Jamaluddin ’s family must be protected by God. The banner of Christ must be hoisted at the earliest in Hariharpara. – Bikash Mullick
